Rick Treon’s new novel Let the Guilty Pay will be a BookBub Featured New Release on July 7.

The book, which will be released July 4 by Fawkes Press, will be among the eBooks featured on the bookish website’ crime fiction newsletter, which has nearly 2.5 million subscribers.

“BookBub is the gold standard of book marketing right now,” Treon said. “I couldn’t be more excited for this opportunity.”

BookBub highlights a curated collection of new releases each week hand-selected by its editors, according to the website.

“Not only will my novel reach an enormous base of active readers,” he said, “but its selection speaks to the book’s quality.”

Let the Guilty Pay is Treon’s second novel. His debut, Deep Background (Black Rose Writing, December 2018), was previously selected as a BookBub Featured Deal, once for the site’s international audience and once for U.S. thriller readers.

Deep Background won the 2019 PenCraft Award for Literary Excellence in Suspense.
